TOY for Inclusion is delighted to announce that new Play Hubs for young children, families and adults have opened this month in Belgium, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia and Slovakia. Our Play Hubs are safe education and care spaces where relationships between Roma and non-Roma young children and their families are built. TOY for Inclusion aims to support the integration of Romani children, families and the older generations in their communities. We are proud to announce that over 110 professionals in 6 countries have been trained in the first project year.

On Wednesday, 8 November the new ‘Heritage Holders’ 2017 were honored in the Amsterdam Museum. The elderly (‘Heritage Givers’), officially gave their stories to the youngsters. Several Dutch officials joined the ceremony. The young Heritage Holders will retell the personal stories of the Dutch colonial past, the Second World War and the immigration in the ’60’s/70’s.
